    This site is available to women throughout the world to promote awareness of the rampant and unethical use of a drug used by a multitude of hospitals and Obstetricians called "Misoprostol" also commonly known as "Cytotec".  This drug is NOT, we repeat, NOT FDA approved for use on pregnant women.

    However, Obstetricians are continuing to ignore warnings given by the FDA and are using this drug 'off label". Despite warnings, deaths of both mother and baby, and emergency life-saving measures due to uterine rupture, as well as a significant rising concern of this drug being a possible cause of AFE (Amniotic Fluid Embolism) is worthy of investigation and concern for all. 

    Obstetricians continue to use it. Lawyers have not understood the significance of preserving the right to litigate when use of this drug produces adverse outcomes, including death. Rather, they are missing the mark and litigation occurs that is in error, unethical, driving medically unjustified cesarean section numbers upward across the nation.

    Thousands of women are being given this drug to induce labor without full, complete informed consent. They are agreeing to an induction of labor without the provision of full, intact information regarding cytotec, possibly thinking that it is a very safe drug for induction of labor, and has been researched extensively, which would be inaccurate.
